Life Updated-Oct, 2006 After high school, I was drafted into the army (1968-1970). While in the army I was stationed in the only other combat zone at the time. The DMZ in Korea. After the army I drifted around for a while. I met my wife to be, while working for the Post Office. She graduated from Pace. We were married in "73" and had two daughters. We were divorced in 1980. I have remained single. I found my way into the electrical trade. I worked my way from an apprentice to owner. I sold out to my partner in 1999. I lived in Dade county until 1988, then moved up to Davie in Broward. I-75, and 595 were not finished and Flamingo Road was still 2 lane. When I left in 1999 to move to Ocala, Fla. Flamingo was 6 lanes and it was bumper to bumper on 595. All in just 11 years. I have 3 grandchildren. Two boys and a girl. Fortunately for me, they are here in Ocala with my oldest daughter. I'm still waiting on my youngest to have children. When she does, I am not looking forward to the trips into Miami. When I moved here, the intention was to semi retire. Well mother nature had other plans for me. I have had two spinal surgeries, and I need a third. I found out I was exposed to Agent Orange while in Korea, and I have been come down with a couple of manageable medical conditions. Needless to say, I am not as active as I would like to be.
